With the Baltimore GP volunteer training happening on Saturday, are any of you volunteering too/going to the GP? Because we still need a couple more volunteers.
FYI I got pass control for my job, so I'm going to get to work need the pits/in restricted areas. If you want to do that, there are a ton of spots open. Also I'm going to the training section on Saturday, so if anybody else is going, comment.

Navigating the harbor area sucks bad enough when a game is going on, it must be a nightmare with this....
Still I'd love to see this race go down.

It is. I was there last year the Thursday before the race. Hellish traffic as roads were starting to be closed off in preparation.

I would love to volunteer this year. I just applied for transportation and track services. Pits and restricted area jobs would be pretty cool, add me to the list!

Stupid question, but if one were to volunteer for the aforesaid pass control, would they be allowed in the pits/restricted areas when off-duty (say, to take pictures)? Regardless, sounds like fun and a great opportunity to get some cool shots (off-duty that is).

I went today, I am Zone 1/Shift 1 for Pass Control (uhh, I believe, I could be wrong on the zone part). Here is a picture of me from today for reference:
